Harit Vasundhara Aadhar Samiti, Narnaul is a mission-driven non-governmental organization dedicated to environmental protection and sustainable development. Guided by the belief that nature is sacred, the Samiti actively works to address environmental degradation through practical action and community participation.

Founded in April 2019 by seven friends from public and private sectors—Jai Dayal Singh, Rajesh Saini, Harsh Saini, Harish Yadav, Suresh Saini, Umesh Saini, and Shrikant—the organization began with 14 members and has now grown to 51 members, including 7 founders, 40 lifetime members, and 4 honorary members. Each Founder & Life member contributes at least ₹1,200 annually for ensuring steady support for environmental initiatives. The organization also maintains 100% cashless financial transactions, reflecting its commitment to transparency and accountability.

Over the past seven years, the Samiti has planted more than 7,100 saplings across key public locations in Narnaul, Haryana and distributed 1,700 free saplings to encourage community participation. Every sapling is protected with fencing or tree guards to ensure long-term survival.

The organization is steadfast in advancing sustainable living through impactful, measurable action. It has proactively distributed 6,963 reusable cotton bags, decisively reducing plastic dependency and encouraging eco-conscious habits at the grassroots level. Through sustained awareness campaigns across social and print media, it continuously mobilizes public participation on critical issues of environmental protection and enrichment.

Its flagship initiative, “Harit Thali Bank,” stands as a powerful model of practical sustainability—providing stainless steel thali sets free of cost for community events and effectively eliminating the need for single-use plastic and disposable utensils. This initiative not only minimizes waste but also instills a culture of responsibility, proving that environmental stewardship can be both accessible and transformative.
