About

Harit Vasundhara Aadhar Samiti, Narnaul is a dynamic and committed NGO dedicated to protecting and restoring the environment. Guided by the belief that nature is sacred, the Samiti is deeply concerned about environmental degradation and is determined to drive meaningful change. It operates 100% cashless and primarily paperless, setting an example of sustainability.

Founded in 2019 by seven friends from public and private sectors—Jai Dayal Singh, Rajesh Saini, Harsh Saini, Harish Yadav, Suresh Saini, Umesh Saini, and Shrikant—the Samiti started with just 14 members. Since then, it has remained dedicated to its mission, organizing regular plantation drives, cleanliness campaigns, and direct community outreach. Through both print and social media, it spreads awareness and inspires people to take action.

Now with a strong team of 51 members (7 Founders, 40 Lifetime Members, and 4 Honorary Members), the Samiti continues its work under the leadership of President Harsh Saini. Other key office bearers include Vice-President Jagdish Yadav, Secretary Suresh Kumar, Treasurer Tarun Saini, and Executive Members Umesh Saini, Arjun Saini, and Babulal Yadav. Every member voluntarily contributes a minimum of ₹1100/- per year, ensuring steady support for its environmental projects.

Each monsoon, the Samiti conducts large-scale plantation drives, focusing on areas where trees are often at risk. Each sapling is planted with care—protected with guards and marked with nameplates. The Samiti also encourages people to plant trees on special occasions to build a culture of green celebrations. So far, over 6,300 saplings have been planted across public places in Narnaul, including Swarg Ashrams, Shamshan Bhumis, Stadium, TB Hospital, various colleges, schools, parks, road sides etc.. An additional 300 saplings have been distributed free to community members to encourage personal action.

The Samiti is also leading the fight against plastic pollution. It promotes eco-friendly cotton bags and has distributed 5,911 bags so far. Through awareness drives, it highlights the importance of water conservation, renewable energy, and eliminating single-use plastics.

Harit Vasundhara Aadhar Samiti stands as a powerful example of what a passionate community can achieve for the planet—one tree, one step, one change at a time.
